Lokuthula Lodges

This is self catering at its best in Unique African Splendour.

Surrounded by 80 000 hectares of unspoilt African bush bask 37 rustic thatched lodges.  Welcome to Lokuthula ‘Place of Peace’ ~ where we invite you to combine the freedom of your own home with the comfort of a world class hotel.

Our Ndebele inspired Lodges are two and three bedroomed, sleeping 6 and 8 respectively.  All are furnished in a riot of ethic colours, fully equipped and serviced daily by our friendly and professional housekeeping staff.  Rates per lodge per night ~ making them ideal for family getaways.

We share an unfenced border with the magnificent Zambezi National park while a nearby waterhole attracts a wide variety of game year-round, including elephant, buffalo, impala and kudu as well as our resident baboons and warthog.  And just 4 kilometres away there’s always the thrill of the mighty Victoria Falls.

A three tier swimming-pool, poolside bar, children’s playground, snack restaurant and TV lounge are situated enticingly nearby and adjoined to the award winning Boma Restaurant.

Lokuthula is an ideal touring base for the area with Hwange and Chobe National Park and Livingston all within 120 kilometres of Victoria Falls.  A multitude of touring and adventure activities can also be booked from the complex.

These include visiting the legendary Falls, touring the crocodile farm and nature sanctuary, sauntering through African Craft villages, cruising the Zambezi river at sunset, game viewing and witnessing a genuine traditional dance.

For the daring, the bunji jump off the Victoria Falls is the world’s highest at 110 metres, or if that’s not wild enough, white water rafting provides the ultimate adrenaline rush!

Set adjacent to the lodges lies The Boma – a vibrant open air African Restaurant combining an evening of Zimbabwean culture, entertainment and food to create an unforgettable experience .
