The area covers
more than two thousand square kilometres. There are many diverse
types of habitat – teak forests, scattered palm trees, Kalahari
scrub, acacia woodlands and mopane forests. The area attracts over
400 species of birds – natural springs provide refreshing
oasis’s for much of the wildlife in this area. The camp is set
in a beautiful location with wonderful views. Roan and sable
antelope are sometimes seen in the grasslands, and large
concentrations of elephant and buffalo are common. |

the Hwange National Park and ran a small camp
there. In 1999, they formed a strategic alliance
with Wilderness Safaris Zimbabwe. Linkwasha and
Little Linkwasha camps were rebuilt and reopened
in May 1999
