We have a unique environment, offering over 450 species of birds.  Adjoining the lodge on its southern boundary is a 800 hectare bird sanctuary where our experienced guides would be willing to share their knowledge on the local flora and fauna of the area with you.

Accommodation consists of:
One self catering cottage fully equipped with stove, oven and fridge, crockery and cutlery.  It sleeps two. 

Two twin tent under thatch lodges built on stilts with en-suite facilities and mini bar. 

Two double storey family units comprising two bedrooms, bathroom, four seater separate lounge and mini-bar. 

Four rock and thatch double storey lodges each having its own four seater separate lounge and dressing room, the bedroom on the second floor overlooks the lake.  These lodges have two double beds upstairs.   

At then end of the day enjoy a cruise aboard one of our two pontoon houseboats where the most spectacular wildlife and sunsets can be viewed. 

The Robert McIlwaine National Park is a rhino sanctuary which has 48 kilometres of shoreline with an abundance of wildlife including white rhino, giraffe, sable, eland, kudu etc.  Walking safaris as well as horserides can be arranged by the lodge to view a variety of plains game and rock paintings. 

For those who do not wish to ride horses we also have mountain bikes and canoeing is a popular option. 

CONFERENCE FACILITIES  

PAGOMA CONFERENCE CENTRE

On the edge of the lake is our thatched open air conference centre seating approximately 30 classroom style and 60 cinema style.  There are canvas drop blinds to darken the room if a video or overhead projector are required.  This conference centre has its own braai facilities as well as a delightful bar situated up in the trees overlooking the lake. 

KENGE CONFERENCE CENTRE

This conference centre seats 50 classroom and 100 cinema style.  The new facility is fitted with the latest climate control unit imported from Australia to provide either heating or cooling.  It has its own restaurant and bar facilities.  This conference centre is ideally suited for large day conferences where minimal overnight accommodation is required.
