Sengwa
Safaris was formed in 1990 by, former policeman and
experienced bushman, Craig Mac Rae and have offices in
Kariba, Zimbabwe.
Craig Mac Rae - was born in Harare, Zimbabwe in 1957 and
was schooled there as a boy. He has lived in Africa ever
since. He was brought up in the bush environment and really
developed his love for the bush from the many fishing trips
that he used to do with his parents. |

On
leaving school, Craig joined the British South Africa
Police, which later became the Zimbabwe Republic
Police. On leaving the Police he went to
South Africa for 6 years in order to pursue a business venture.
In 1990 home called and he returned to Zimbabwe
where he set up his safari company Sengwa Safaris. The
company concentrated on traditional tented safaris in Mana
Pools and Matusadona National Park, but now offers a
wide range of experiences in Zimbabwe and neighbouring
Zambia.
Craig is also a Partner and Shareholder in the Zambezi
Safari & Travel Co. which also arranges tours through
out Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. |
