Sengwa
Safaris
Craig Mac Rae, a
former policeman and experienced bushman, formed Sengwa
Safaris in 1990 and set up offices in Kariba,
Zimbabwe.

The Boss - Born in Harare, Zimbabwe in
1957.
I was schooled in Harare and have lived in
Africa ever since. I was brought up in
the bush environment and really got my
love for the bush from the many fishing trips
that I used to do with my parents. On
leaving school I joined the British South
Africa Police, which later became the
Zimbabwe Republic Police. On leaving the
Police I went to South Africa for 6
years in order to pursue a business venture.

In
1990 home called and I returned to
Zimbabwe and I set up my safari company Sengwa
Safaris concentrating on traditional
tented safaris in Mana Pools and Matusadona
National Park. I am also a Partner
and Shareholder in the Zambezi Safari &
Travel Co. which also arranges tours through
out Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia.
